LONDON,-May-41-;*
Mr Robert Smillic, president of the Miners' Federation,- has received several presentations in. his native -village, Larkhall, Scotland.' In a speech, he said he had no inten-t-ion to ridicule the coal-ow*iing Dukes. Ho is merely aiming at proving • the system bad. Ho wished to overturn the present system by constitutional means, and to avoid rebellion and bloody revolution. Ho did not intend to preach contentment until there was I. --. to do so.
