A meeting of 113 stranded Now Zealanders adopted a resolution to coble to Sir James Allen demanding the right to return to tho Dominion immediately, and urging that the Manuka, which is to sail on tho Y2nd, he allowed to take, passengers. • The meeting w also ■ .resolved to -take action against the Now Zealand Government for expenses incurred through their detention in Sydney. The chief contention of the speakers was that the real cause of detention was not the extent of influenza in Australia, but the allegedly inadequate quarantine accommodation at various stations in New Zealand.
