A PLOT DISCLOSED
SMUGGLING RUSSIANS UNTO ENGLAND.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON. May 9 (delayed).
The “Daily Express” states that Scotland Yard has learned tot a remarkable plot to smuggle Russians into England, including many who were formerly resident here, and who were given the alternative to enlist with the British forces or to fight for Kerensky. After tho latter’s defeat the troops threw down their arras and deserted. Many of these and hundreds of others reached Scandinavian ports, where they secured passports to England. Scotland Yard took Immediate action, and forty have already been arrested.
