NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. Press Association. AUCKLAND, May j 16. At a meeting of tho Auckland -Swimming Centre it was decided that if Otago would not go on with the Now Zealand championship meeting next season Auckland will fill the breach. Swimming circles in Auckland arc in a good financial position at present, and tho sum of J 2105 was to-night subscribed to ; meet the cost of the championship meeting ill the event of it being held in Auckland.
