TO-DAY’S RUGBY
A big crowd is expected at Athletic Park this afternoon for the PonekeAthletio game. Both teams are said to be very fit, and a keen game should result. On Wo. 2 ground two fifthgrade teams. Oriental and Athletic, are looked to provide a good game. 'To day's official programme will contain the names of the players in botli senior matches at the Bark, and in addition jerseys will bo numbered. A special feature will be a leaflet with a full photograph of the late Mr D. 1). Weir (chairman, W.R.F.U., 1015-1018), together with Ilia Rugby history. It has been arranged that a train will leave Lambtoa for Lower Hutt at 2.15 p.m. each Saturday during the season.
Playors are advised of the following amendments to either fixtures, grounds, or referees: —Third Grade, Oriental v. Hutt, at . Hutt No. 1 (A. Mcßain). Fourth Grade, Poneko v. Wellington, at Lyall Bay No. 2 (A. Eean); Marist Old Boys v. Hutt, at Hutt No. 2 (Mr Pilcher). Fifth Grade, Poneko V. Berhamporo, at Duppa street No 1, 1.30 p.m. (R. T. Bailey). The following matches will not be played: —Hutt v. Wellington College (Sixth Grade), and Terraco v. Potono District High School (primary school championship).
