The valuation of the Otago and Southland wool clip is' practically complete; the quantity valued is 02,110 bales against 95,009 hales last season. About 5000 bales have been shipped to the Imperial Government. The quality of the clip is comparatively good, considering the severity of winter and spring. Prices all round are on a par with the previous year.
