LONDON, May 12. Official.—The Afghans, who were heavily reinforced on May 9th, reached the heights overlooking Landi Kotal, which are indisputably oh the British side of the frontier, thereby committing a deliberate act of invasion. We later expelled them, and’ our aeroplanes, co-operating, bombed Loedakk With good results. There is some unrest in Peshawar, where martial law was proclaimed, but the situation improved after a number of people had been arrested.
