ATTEMPT TO SHOOT POLISH PREMIER,

(Received May 14, 7.5 p.m.) WARSAW, May 13. An untoward incident occurred at Paderewski’s home-coming. Vast crowds gathered in the streets, which were gaily decorated. When the Premier and his wife entered their motorcar two men shouted, ‘‘Down with Paderewski!’’ and produced revolvers. The crowd overpowered and disarmed them. The subsequent proceedings were marked by extraordinary enthusiasm.
