The federation of engineering and shipbuilding trades, representing over, twenty trade unions, is considering the Government's offer to leaso 1 -the-• national shipyards at Chepstow, -Beachley, and Port-bury with the option to acquire the yards outright when desired. The federation will discuss the offer on Thursday'at Cardiff.
