LIGHT RAILWAY LINES
EMINENTLY* SUITABLE FOR NEW ZEALAND. . Press -Association. HAMILTON. May 18. At a meeting of the Chamber of Commerce, Captain Bruce, jrho servod France, gave an address on light railways with the New Zealand Division in France, gave an addres' son light railways. These railways, he considered, were eminently suitable for New Zealand, to serve as feeders to the main lines and in developing the back country. The meeting decided to send a cable message to Mr Massey, urging him to go thoroughly into the matter, and procure light lines from Franco to use as an experiment here.
