The Union Company advises that the Waihora is to leavo Wellington to-day for Sydney. At the latter port the vessel will take the loading berth for Vancouver. She will call at Newcastle and Honolulu on route to the Canadian port. AMIRAL CECILLE BECALMED. Thirty-five days out from Wellington, bound for Molbourno in ballast, to load wheat for Nantes, the French sailing shij, Amiral Cecilia was becalmed in Bass Straits on April 23rd. A tug was 6ent out. and the sailer was towed into the Victorian port on April 24th. The Amiral Oecille arrived at Wellington earlv in March with cargo from New York via Auokland. Sho commenced the run to Melbourne from Wellington on Maroh 19th. LOUIS THEKIAULT EN ROUTE. After a stay of over two months in Melbourne, the schooner Louis Thenault left that port recently laden with phosphates for Wellington, New Zoaland. Tho Louis Theriuult reached Melbourne from St. John, New Brunswick, with a cargo of paper on February 23rd, after beinu refloated from a mudbank on whioh she grounded at th© entrance to Westernport Bay. Niagara left Vancouver on the 11th inst. for Auokland, via Honolulu and Suva. The vessel is due at Auokland on the 2&th inst. She is timed to sail from Auckland about Juno 10th on the return trip to Vancouver via ports. MANUKA FOR SYDNEY. The Union Company advise that the departure of the Manuka from Wellington for Sydney has been postponed till 8 o'clock to-night ORISSA FOR PERSIAN GULF. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Orissa Is to leave New Plymouth about next Sunday with an oil-refinery plant for Aberdam, Persian Gulf. The vessel will proceed via Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, and Bombay. KAIKOURA FOB LONDON. The liner Kaikoura arrived baok at Wellington at 8 o'olook yesterday morning from Tokomaru Bay and berthed at j the Glasgow wharf to complete Homeward loading. The vessel will leave here on Sunday for London via Panama. WORK AT THE SLIP. The trawler Nora Nlven ii to «o up on the slip at 8 o'olook this morning for cleaning and painting, behind the Hinemoa. Both vessels will be rejaunohed at 8 a.m. on Friday. The Wairau will then go up on the eMp for an overhaul that will occupy u oouple of days.
