BACK TO GERMANY
3000 INTERNEES SAIL TO-DAY. The Willochra, which is to sail today for Sydney, will take over 3000 internees away from the Dominion. The majority of the men are of German nationality, and only seven of them are prisoners of war. Among those who are being repatriated are Count von Luckner and six members of the crew of the raider Seeadler. DRAFT FROM AUCKLAND. Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 13. A party of 168 prisoners of war was dispatched for Wellington by special train to-night to join the Willochra en route to Germany. The party comprised 71 Germans, three women, 13 children and 80 Jugo-Slavs who desire to be repatriated and one Austrian party includes Dr Schultz (ex-Gover-nor of Samoa"), Count von Luckner and Lieutenant Kircheiss.
No crowds gathered to witness the march through Devonport, but small boys took evident relish in counting out the prisoners as they passed.
