AUSTRALIAN FLYING RESERVE

ANXIETY ABOUT THE FUTURE. Australian and N.Z. Gable Association. LONDON. May 6. Senator Pearce, Federal Defence Minister, and General Sir W. R. Birdwood have had several consultations regarding the future of the Flying Corps. So far no decision has been reached, though dt is understood that all the Australians with flying experience in Franco will be welcomed if they enrol in tho Flying Reserve in Australia. Many men are extremely anxious about their future. They hop© that tho Government will treat the "force in a generous and far-sighted manner, as its exploits in France proved that it would bo impossible to collect such another body of men as the members of a military or • commercial flying corps.
