GREEN ISLAND DISPUTE
A CONFERENCE DESIRED,

The Green Island miners hare received a letter from the coal owners agreeing to a conference provided that the men resume work within tour iars and that the men subscribe to the conditions of the existing • agreement. At a meeting to-night the miners decided unanimously not to resume work until a conference has been held.
