WEATHER PROSPECTS
■ (By tihe Dominion Meteorologist.') Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for moderate to strong easterly to northerly winds northwards of Now Plymouth and Castlepoint, and freshening northerly' to westerly elsewhere. Cloudy to overcast conditions may bo expected generally, with rain following shortly in the western and southernmost districts. The barometer has a falling tendency.
