RECOGNITION BY GOVERNMENT IMPOSSIBLE.
LONDON, May 11
Mr E. Shortt, in the House of Commons, absolutely denied that the War Cabinet promised to recognise the Policeman's j Union. Recognition wasimpossible. Events- a if-Trafalgar Square meeting proved it. He admitted die pay was inadequate.
