Tho finding of a District Court-n.ii i tial, held at Fcatlierston camp on May Ist, 1919, on 23/joLJ Private K. K. A. Young has been confirmed by tho Commandant of the New Zealand Forces (Major-General Sir Alfred Robin). Private Y’oung, who was charged with being absent without leave from February 11th, 1916, until apprehended by the military police on April 9th, 1919, and with losing by neglect Ins clothing and regimental necessaries, was sentenced to twenty-eight days’ detention. Tho accused’s pay is to be stopped until be has made good tho sum of £l4 os 10d. Tho finding and sentence of the court was confirmed at Wellington on May 7th, but tho period of twenty-oigbt days' imprisonment was remitted.
