SKETCH EXHIBITION
The magnificent collection of oil and water-colour sketches now being shown at the A.rt Gallery has been a source of keen delight to every visitor. Yesterday the galleries were thronged by picturelovers, and at time of closing one of tho busiest days had been recorded. Additional sains were made, and tickets in tho art union, which will be drawn in the presence ctf visitors at 9 o’clock to-night, were selling like the proverbial hot cakes. Altogether: the exhibition has been a most artistic sur.ooss, and there is every indication that from a financial point of view It will bent all previous records. The exhibition closes at 9.30 to-night, and today is, therefore, the last opportunity to view tho collection. Tho gallery is cren from 10 a.ni. to 5.30 p.m., and from 7.30 p.m. to 9j3-0, The admission charge of one shilling includes a ticket in tho art union. >
