Germany agrees to recognise m tu» the validity of the Treaties of Fcace and the additional Conventions to be concluded by the Allied and associated Powers with the Powers allied with Germany: to agree to the decisions to he taken as to territories of Acs tria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and and to recognise the new States m the frontiers to be fixed for them. ~ ; • The vtork’ of .Veligious .missions maintained by German societies m .territory transferred to or belonging to Allied or associated Powers is to be continued under trustees appointed by those Vowa clause Germany undertakes not to nut forward *ny pecuniary claim against any Allied Powers which have signed the present Treaty, based on events previous to the coming into force o* the -Treaty.’. ' : Germany accepts all decrees, etc., us to German ships and goods, made by any Allied Prize Oourt, and tho Allies reserve tho right to examine all decisions of the German Prize Courts. The present Treaty, of which the French and English texts are both authentic, shall be ratified, and tho deposit of the ratification made m Paris as soon as possible. Vaious diplomatic provisions as to ratification follow.
The Treaty is to enter into force, in all respects for each Power on date of its ratification.
