Present indications (5 p.rn. yesterday) aro for variable breezes, with moderate to strong easterly to northerly prevailing in tho North Island and northerIv to westerly in the South. Weather fair to cloudy, but with increasing haze and cloudiness generally. The barometer has a falling tendency.
