THE FRYATT MURDER
“AN UTTERLY INEXCUSABLE MISTAKE.” Australian and N.Z. Cable Association BERLIN. May 3. Two members of the Commission have published a declaration opposing the finding of tho Commission regarding Captain Fryatt’s case. They described the sentence as an utterly inexcusable mistake. It was reported last month that the Oerman (Commission inquiring into the treatment of prisoners had announced that Captain Fryatt’s execution was no violation of international law, but expressed regret that the sentence was carried out within a few hours of the pronouncement.
