AIR ACCIDENTS
Australian, and General Sykes, Controller-General of Civil Aviation, was summoned urgently to Paris in connection with tho Veaco deliberations. The aeroplane crashed at Kenley, owng to a side-slip while ascending. Hie pilot was killed and General Sykes was badly shaken. He has returned to London^. A FLIGHT COMMANDER KILLEDLONDON, May 3. While Flight-Commander Peter Legs was testing an aeroplane at Finchley, it caught fire at a great height. Commander Legs jumped out and was killed. The machine fell on a house, which was set on fire.
