OVERCROWDING
TRAMWAYMEN TO^TAKE;ACTION: Considerable dissatisfaction is expressed by members of the Wellington Tramways Union-at the neglect of the City Council to enforce the regulations prohibiting overcrowding on the trams. Members of the union consider that the manner i'n . overcrowding is allowed to gol on is positively dangerous to the. public. . . . - ... Yesterday the union members held shift meetings to decide, on .a course of action, and it'was decided'to* wait on the new City Council and emphasise the danger of the present practice, particularly with regard to the Brooklyn and Wndestown sections. The "union officials' state that if no satisfaction is obtained from the council other steps will be taken to enforce the regulations.- -'•■-■■
