Xu connection with the resumption of civilian- flying to-day, the Air Aliuis- ; try has issued regulations defining ihe ' ,pir.,laws. w They .provide for.the halfyearly medical examination of pilots, ! and daily tests for passenger machines. j The regulations forbid - • •stunting,' 5 ’ trick lauding, and flying oVer’ pß’iiUlous , areas. Passing machnes must !-e 1100 yards apart, .and aeroplanes are to give . way to airships. LONDON, April £3 (delayed). An official synopsis of the British efforts'll! the air during the war period | shows that the output of aeroplanes for the first ten months was 5302, cud for tho last ten months _ 26,635. The -airmen used a bomb weighing 201 b in 1914, as against one of 30001 b weight in 1919. Two officers and three men were engaged 'in photographic reconnaissances jn 19X4, as compared w;th 250 officers and 3009 men in' 1919, and ‘ over 5,250,000 prints of aerial photographs were issued by the air .ervico in the field during the war period. Between July, 1916, and the , signing of the Armistice, 7000 enemy aircraft were • brought, down, and 7000 tens of uomhs ‘ were dropped. The total flying time was 103 years, and 19,500,000 -ounds of ammunition were fired at ground ; targets. ■
