MOTOR FATALITY
INQUEST ON CHRISTCHURCH ACCIDENT. As.cOCTAbiOTI. CHRISTCHURCH, May 5. The post mortem on David Henderson Brown, who died at the Hospital on Friday, could not be held as the body had been buried. When the coroner resumed the inquiry this afternoon he said it had not been expected that this examination wonld > disclose anything as to haw the accident had happened, but tfoft doctors wished to make sure of the exact nature of deceased’s injuries. However, by some mistake the body wax taken away and buried before the post mortem examination could be helB» The ..coroner said that accordingly he would , return his verdict, which was to_ the effect that Brown died from' injuries received through heiflg run over by a motor-car driven by Charles Major Barnett! There was no evidence. of negligent driving.
