LOSS OF A KETCH

Press Association. HOKITIKA, October 19. The nautical inquiry into the loss of tho auxiliary ketch Jan© at Okuru on August 25th was hold at Hokitika before Mr Hutchison, S.M., and Captain Cox (Greymouth). The court found that Signalman Cuttance was not justified in giving tho signal to take tho bar, and that Captain Vasta was in no way to blame. No order was made as to costs. The certificates were returned.
