WAR SCHEME FOR CHEMISTS

AMALGAMATION OF BUSINESSES. Press Association. HAMILTON, October 18. The Military Board and the Efficiency Board approve a scheme for the amalgamation of chemists’ businesses, conserving the interests of members who are balloted early in the Second Division. Businesses will bo 00-opera-ted for the period of the war, the takings pooled and the profits divided proportionately between the men balloted and those remaining. The agreement will remain in force for three months after the end of the war. The hoards consider that other businesses should follow this example.
