For the second day of the Victoria Amateur Turf Club’s meeting at Caulfield the weather was dull and cool. There was a good attendance. Following aro the results : EMO HURDLES, Of 250 sovs; two miles and 64yds. ASinitis 1 Lady Sunderland 2 Cordelier 3 Eight started. Cordelier was the first over tho last hurdle. Then Affinitis and Lady Sunderland put in their challenges, the former winning by two lengths. Time, Smin 52iseo. MONA NURSERY, Of 630 sovs; four furlongs and a half. Outlook 1 Aries 2 Eusebius , 3 Twenty started. Tho winner led throughout. Time, 55iseo. ECLIPSE STAKES, Of SOO sots; one mile and three furlongs. Pah King 1 Mistico 2 Linglo 3 There were nine starters. Kilfinn led tho field to tho mile post, where she had a three-lengths lead, and Lingle was last. At the half mile post Kilfinn still had a three-lengths lead. Then Pah King caught the leader and eventually won by a short neck, a length separating second and third horses. Kilfinn was fourth. Time, 2min 22Jsec. MOONGA HANDICAP, ■ Of 250 sovs; seven furlongs. Duverney 1 Trillion 3 Shadowland 3 Fourteen started. Trillion got a break on the field, but was caught by Duvorney at the distance. Won by three lengths. Time, Imm 27isec. COOGY HANDICAP, Of 500 sovs; one mile and three furlongs. King’s Bounty 1 Marculfus 2 Somiblue 3 Fifteen started. Red Signal set the pace, but the field was well bunched at tho entrance to the straight. There was a groat finish. King’s Bounty cutting down the leaders in the last stride. The Toff was never prominent. Won by a head. Time, 2miu 23sec. BURWOOD NOVICE, Of 230 sovs; one mile. Edlington 1 Burnley 2 Beltane 3 Twenty-one started. Beltane made the running to the half distance, where Edlington forged ahead and won by half a length. Time, Imin 431 sec.
