At the instance of' the Manawatu Trotting Club and for the encouragement of horse-breeding, a special class has been added for registered bipod trotting or pacing marc, -with foal at toot by a trotter ot: pacer.' Prises are £l, .£2, and £1- This offer was not in time to bo included in the schedule. Entries for all live stock divisions' and competitions are duo to close to-day, and late fee entries up to Saturday, 20th instant. For tho information of draught horse exhibitors, attention is drawn to an "error in the schedule which says that the Knight Cup is for mare with foal at foot. This should he mare with two of her progeny. Entries are rapidly coming to hand now, and keen competition is looked forward to in all classes. Schedules may be had on application to Box 85, Palmerston North.
