At Addingtton market to-day* there were again moderate yardings of fat stock, and large entriea.ipf ,:store - Cattle.. and dairy oows. There was an increase, in the offering of store sheep and a good sale resulted, especially for wethers and hoggets, which.- esowed an art... vance. The fat cattle offerings , were small, Che quality moderate; and prices firmer, values being equal to from 56s to over 60s per 1001 b. A smalV-yarding of fat lambs met with a-goody,sale. BURNSIDE MARKET. Press Association. DUNEDIN.. .October 10. At Burnside to-day 314 fat cattle were penned. The quality was fair and competition good, but prices were a shade easier. Best bullocks A2O to 2621 10s, medium (good) Al 7 10s to AlB 10s 6d, best cows and heifers Al 5 10s to AlB, medium good Al 3 to Al 4 10s. Sheep.—l 476 woro penned. Competition was very keen and prices advanced hv from 2s 6d to 3s. Best wethers 48s to 525. extra Cls 6d. medium good 42s to 445, best ewes 47s to 51s, .extra 54s 3d, medium-good 40s to 43a 6d. ' Lambs.—2B were penned,' realising to,, 33s 3d for best and 28s to 30s for medium. --•■■■ Pigs.—There was a small - entry - of fats and a large yarding ,-of ,-stores.
