LONDON, February 27. The Hon. J. Scaddan, Premier of West Australia, is visiting friends and relatives in the mining districts of Devon and Cornwall. The Corporation of Penzance welcomed Mr 'Scaddan, who spoke on West Australia’s progress. He lunched with Ernest Thomas, a West Australian, in the Dalcoath mine, 3350 ft down. Mr Scaddan .visits Wales, Scotland, and 'Paris.
