MRS PANKHURST ON BAIL UNDERTAKING TO REFRAIN FROM INCITEMENT, By Telegraph—Press Association —Cppyright LONDON, February 27. Mrs Pankhurst has been released on hail, having complied with certain conditions.
Her trial has been transferred to the Old Bailey. . Mrs Pankhurst undertook to refrain from further incitements. Her health is unsatisfactory. Sylvia Pankhurst and four others who were forcibly fed at Holloway Gaol are reported to be seriously ill. MAGISTRATES INDIGNANT. THE RELEASE OP LILIAN LENTON. LONDON, February 27. Joyce Locke, the young woman who was arrested with Lilian Lenton for the outrage at Kew Gardens, has been committed for trial. The magistrates are indignant at Lenten’s release.
The prosecuting counsel explained chat she was suffering from pleurisy and pneumonia. The magistrates have issued a warrant for Lenton’s arr<3st, in order to have the Home Secretary's explanation. [lt was stated that Lenten was released from prison, as she was in a state of collapse, having refused to take food.] PAINTED GREEN. WOMAN CAUGHT PAINTING SEATS. LONDON, February 27. Some men caught a woman painting “Votes for Women" on seats at Hampstead. They pulled down her hair and smothered her face and hair with green paint, and then released her.
