TRACK WORK AT WANGANUI

Press Association. WANGANUI, February 25. Amongst horses which arrived last night were Labour Day, Composed, Dearest, Stepney, Styx, Distinction. Crown Pearl, and Imagination, while Postillion, Moutoa Girl, Nukuatu with others walked in from Fordell this morning. The weather was fine and the tracks in excellent order. Autumnus went six furlongs in Imin 20sec. Masterpiece and Domino a mile in Imin 4Ssec, the latter pleasing most. Tiresome and Allegation galloped six furlongs in Imin 28sec, Distinction, Eastwind, and Moiretto taking Imin 34sec. Cheddar went a mile and a quarter at three-quarter pace, Ventura half a mile in olsec, and Jason six furlongs in Imin 16seo. Aruake was too good fci Aviatrix over six furlongs. Dearest and Styx went five furlongs in Imin 4sec, Stepney taking Imin Bronze galloped three-quarters of a mile and was then joined ,by Lockwood and covered another half a mile nicely, labour Day went twice round at half pace, and Composed did a similar task. Muleteer and Royal Patron finished together at the end of seven furlongs going fast. Coromandel covered half a mil© nicely, Phroso anti Denise Orme going six furlongs and finishing strongly* Postillion galloped fivo furlongs in Imin and Leonta and Princess Moutoa the same distance in Imin 7sec. comfortably. Nukuatu covered five furlongs in Imin 4seo. Moutoa Girl went a mile and a quarter fast, the last mile taking Imin 47isec. Serviceable work was registered p by Imagination, North East, Austin, Tiwari, Silver Rose, and others. Mahmawa jumped five hurdles fairly well, and Serenity was given, a similar task. , Master Tnpuhi has been scratched for tho Cup.
