Steamers frequently come down to New Zealand with as many as thirty motor cars helow hatches, and there seems to be a general increase in the number being shipped from the United States and Canada each year. Over thirty machines were on board the steamer Star of Ireland, which arrived a few days ago from New York, and those consigned to Auckland have (says the “Star”) been piled four deep on the railway wharf at the ship’s side.
