SOUTH ISLAND BRASS BANDS
Press Association. INVERCARGILL, February 25. A meeting of citizens to-night adop.-ed a motion by the Mayor affirming the desirability of holding the next South Island Brass Bands’ Association contest in Invercargill, probably in October. A strong committee was appointed to make arrangements. The idea is that tha programme will be similar to that of tha last contest at Dunedin.
