Stansell, sen., will hold a land sale at Shannon to-morrow, when he will offer some of the best business sites in the township. Tho land to be submitted was purchased by tho late T. C. Williams in 1887, and this is the first opportunity the public has had of purchasing the freehold! Eleven of the sections are in the vicinity of the post office. Sections 1 and -3, as shown on the plan, are being put up as a .site for the proposed theatre, >’ans for which have been prepared by Mr Natusch, who estimates that a return of 10 per cent, will be secured on the outlay.
