ACTIVE VOLCANO
EMPTYING CINDERS OVER LARGE AREA. ST. PETERSBURG, February 23. The Berezoosld volcano, Kamchatka, is erupting cinders for a radius of ten kilometres (6 1-5 miles). On iho Peninsula of Kamchatka, of North-east Asia, there are un less than twelve active volcanoes and twenty-six extinct ones, from TOUO to 16,000 feet high.
