A LOTTERY FORTUNE

An Oldhill, South Staffordshire, coal miner named Albert Biliingham, bolds the winning ticket in a Hungarian lottery, and is believed to be entitled to a fortune of 1,000,000 kroner (over £40,000). Biliingham told a reporter that he had been employed as a miner in India, and recently returned to this country. While in, India he entered a lottery promoted at Budapest, and two days before ho set sail he received what he described as a balance-sheet, which showed that ticket No. 103,881, of which he was the holder, had won the prize. Asked what he would do with the money if he proved to he the winner, Biliingham replied: “Wait until I get it, and then I will let you know. I shall k€fep those who have been good to me to sit and watch me.’
