SHIPPING CASUALTIES
VESSELS MISSING. PORT DARWIN, February 22. A small steamer named Maggie and the lugger Venture, together carrying five men, are missing. It is feared that they foundered in a storm shortly, after they loft port. FIRE ON A STEAMER. SYDNEY, February 22. A fire on the Union steamer Waka* tipu badly damaged a Tasmanian consignment of 830 bales of straw.
