DRAMATIC EXECUTION AGED OFFICIAL BARES BREAST TO RIFLEMEN. By Teiesraph—Press Association—Copjrlshl MEXICO CITY, February 20. A firing party executed Adolph Basso, Superintendent of the National Palace. Basso, an aged man, bared his breast to the riflemen, shouting ‘‘Viva Mexico 1” EX-PRESIDENT MADERO CHARGED WITH CONSPIRING AGAINST LIFE. MEXICO CITY, February 20. When about to depart es-President Madero was stopped by the Government’s orders, and an allegation put forward on General Huerta’s behalf that Madero had conspired against Huerta’s life. The Mexican Congress discussed all night tho question pf sending Madero into exile. OFFICIAL INQUIRY DEMANDED, (Received February 21, 9.10 pjn.) MEXICO CITY, February 2L . A committee of tho House of Deputies is demanding that Madero bo compelled to face an official inquiry as to whether ho shot Colonel Riveroll when he was arrested at the National Plalace; also as to whether he misused Governmental funds. There is a likelihood of Madero being compelled to return and stand his trial. General Huerta has been sworn hi as President, General Diaz was present* and offered no objection. Conditions are now peacefnL The rebels in Northern Mexico am likely to submit if certain demands are granted.
