Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 21. Tn the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Cooper delivered judgment in the action Moses McKinley versus the Whangarei County Council, a claim for £250 damages for injury to plamtifi s land, caused by the council failing to dear the Maugere and Puketuti streams, abutting on plaintiff’s lami, and for a writ of mandamus compelling the council to clear these streams of all obstructions. His Honor said the council bad expended a considerable sum in endeavours to clear these streams. He was not satisfied the council had been guilty of negligence, and gave judgment for defendant with costs.
