ODDFELLOWSHIP
DISTRICT MEETING
The Oddfellows’ District, Manchester Unity, continued its annual conference at Levin on Wednesday. A remit from the G.M. and board of directors regarding the consolidation of the sick fund was deferred until neat year. The question of uniform sick pay was referred to the next 8.M.0, for consideration. The levy for district management expenses Was passed at the same scale as hist year. , The officers for the ensuing year were installed by Bro. D, P. Loashy, P.P.G.M., assisted by Bros, dark and Madeley, P.P.G.M.’s:—Prov. G.M., BrO. J. A. Boake; Prov. D.G.M., Bro. S, Guy; relieving officer, Bro, W. Madeley, P.P.G;M.; and Book Examiner, Bro. A. Perrin, P.P.G.M.; members of district management committee, Bros. Ibbotson, Daly, Madeley, Smart, Salek, Wiley. . It was ordered that the retiring G.M., Bro. C. M. King, be presented with a gold jewel: that ho bo recommended to take his degree, and his name be placed on the merit board.
