THE SNOWDON RANGE
PRESENTATION TO CAPTAIN AND OFFICERS. LONDON, February 18. The underwriters presented the captain of the steamer Snowdon Range with a gold watch and a cheque for £4OO. They also presented cheques to the officers. On being introduced to Lloyd’s, the captain and officers were cheered. The Snowdon Range is a vessel of 3000 tons gross, belonging to the Neptune Steam Navigation Company, of which Mosers Furness, Withy and Co. are managers. A cable message received on the 16th of January stated that eho bad been, towed to Queenstown after being fifty days out from Philadelphia. during which time she lost her rudder. She anchored in the outer entrance at Queenstown, where the towing steamers and tugs were compelled to leave her owing to a terrific gale. Later she reached the inner harbour. No lives were lost,
