The P.-S. liner Norfolk/ which was to hunker at Newcastle on Monday, is proceeding to Bunbury to load jarrah for New Zealand. The Hinemoa landed at Cuvier lighthouse yesterday and arrived at Auckland last evening. She will continue her northward trip to-morrow evening. : The auxiliary scow Echo arrived at Havelock at 9 a.m. yesterday from Foxton to load for' Gisborne. The Scales liner Clan Grant is due at Wellington on Sunday, probably from Lyttelton, for Homeward loading. The Morayshire, on completion of the discharge of her cargo from Liverpool, at southern ports, is to load in Australia for the United Kingdom for the FederalShire line. The Kahn left Wellington last night for Capo PaUiser, White Book, and other Bast Coast stations. She is due back here to go on the patent slip on Monday for cleaning. The Kahu will probably be relaunched on Tuesday, and wiU sail on the came day for Fioton and Fast Coast, The Tyser liner Star of England was to have left Port Chalmers last night for Wellington, where she is due to-morrow morning.- The vessel is to sail from here next Tuesday for London. The Buteshire is due back at Wellington next Monday from Lyttelton for Homeward loading under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company. The Tyser liner Mofcarini arrived at Wellington last evening from Wanganui roadstead, and berthed at the Glasgow wharf . to complete Homeward loading. She is to leave here at noon to-morrow for London. The coastal steamer Breeze is due at Wellington to-morrow from Lyttelton, and will sail on the same afternoon for Wanganui. The Vessel is duo again tomorrow week from south on her way to Wanganui. The Maoriland Company’s steamer Holmdale left Greymouth on Tuesdaynight for Timaru. Yesterday morning the Arapawa left Wanganui for Fuponga to load coal for Picton. She is duo at Wellington from Picton on Satnrday. . Captain T. Eckford is acting-master of tie Opawa during Captain Nicholas’s absence on sick leave. The Kauri is loading at Newcastle for Gisborne and Napier. ■ The departure of the Wakatu from Wellington for Kaikoura and Lyttelton 4«q been postponed until this evening at 4 o’clock. The steam trawler Nora Niven and the Waimea wiU be relaunched from the Wellington patent slip today or to-mor-row. The Kahu wiU go on the cradle on Monday and the Tutanekal will follow. The new 1300 tons collier which is being built at Homo for the Union Company, it is reported, will be named the Kamo. The vessel is for the New Zealand coastal service. The Tyser liner Star of Ireland is now due at Auckland direct from London, She is expected at Wellington about Tuesday next. . Scott signed on the Corinna’s articles as third engineer. THE NIAGARA COMING. The Union Company's new liner Niagara (13,500 tons) is to leave Glasgow on March Bth for Sydney. The vessel will leave Plymouth on March 10th, is due at Melbourne about April 17th, and at Sydney on April 20th. She will leave Sydney on May sth for Auckland and.
Vancouver. The Niagara is to arrive at Auckland on May 9th, and will sail on the same day for Suva. Honolulu and Vancouver. TYRONE FOB AVONMOUTH. The Tyrone, which is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff with remainder of cargo from Liverpolo, will afterwards load for West of -England ports under the auspices of the New Zealand and African Steamship Company. The Tyrone will leave New Zealand pbout March 31st for Avonmouth and ports. KARAMEA BAR IMPROVED. Mr R. W. Gilbert, of the Karamea Sawmilling Company, Wellington, received a telegram from the pilot at Karamea yesterday stating that the channel was keeping in splendid order and was now workable day and night, ihero' is twelve feet of water on the bar at neap tides. THE AWAROA STUCK. The Awaroa stuck in the mnd at Motneka on Tuesday night, but got off on the next tide, and arrived at Wellington last evening l . The vessel sailed late last night for Nelson and Motueka. THE SYDNEY BOAT. About 10 o’clock yesterday morning the Manuka arrived at Wellington from. Sydney direct, and berthed at No. 6, Queen s wharf. The vessel left Sydney at 1 p.m. on Saturday and experienced moderate weather for the first day, followed by smooth eeas and fine weather fall arrival. The Manuka is to sail from Wellington at 5 pan, to-day for southern ports, Hobart, and Melbourne. CORINTHIC’S PASSENGERS.
