A CURIOUS FIND
TIN-COATED BOOMERANG IN MINE. (Received February 18, 9.16 p.m.) SYDNEJ, February 18. While working in a deep lead at Emmaville at a depth of 160 ft, an engineer found a boomerang in the wash coated with tin. When scraped it proved to be as perfect as when it was made. It was composed of solid hardwood. There were fifty feet of basalt above the wash.
