Cable news from Suva dated February 17th (received February 17th, at 8.8 p.m.) states that Atua wirelessed that a terrific hurricane swept Tonga on the 9th inst. No lives were lost, but heavy damage was done to property. A young woman, a married half-caste named Groom, committed suicide by taking lysol. •
