Burri took charge at tho bend and won by a length. There was a great battle for second place, tho judge being unable to separate Mala and Borrosov. Time, Imin Ssec. FEDERAL STAKES. Five furlongs (two-year-olds). W. Brown’s br c Arrowform, by Multiform—Arrowroot 1 Nata 2 Quair Barn 3 Thirty starters. Won by two lengths. Time, Imin 3seo. BOND CUP, one mile and a half. E. R. Fraser’s hr c Barios, by Grafton—Diamond 1 Didus 2 Uxbridge 3 Twelve starters. Won by a length, with half a length between second and third. Time, 2min 87Jseo. ST. GEORGE STAKES, .nine furlongs (w.f.a.) , Hon- A. Wynne's b o Cider, by Ayr Laddie —Praleon 1 Wolawa 2 Almissa 3 Fourteen starters. Won by threequarters of a length. Time, Imin 55Jseo. In tho Warrein Hurdles the New Zealand-bred Home Rule finished second, while Blakeney, another New Zealander, was third in the Salisbury Welter. MOORFIELD RACE MEETING. February IS.
