GATHERING AT WANGANUI. Press Association. . ‘ WANGANUI, February 16. Over TOO firemen from all parts of New Zealand are now in- town for tha annual demonstration and conference which take-place during the coming week. After a church parade to-day the firemen, were. tendered an ofliciat welcome at'tho Opera House by th® Mayor, and the member for the district, and in the afternoon the visitors were taken, to Castlecliff. 'lhe conference begins to-morrow morning, and the competitions take place on Wednesday arid Thursday. .
