GRISLY FLOTSAM

Press Association. ASHBURTON, February 15. A human leg with a sock on the foot has been found near the mouth of the Rakaia river by Mr A. H. Shury, a well-known angler. It is supposed to be part of the remains of Nicholas or Derby, who were washed out to sea from the mouth of the Rangitata river (thirty-five miles south) several weeks ago.
