GENERAL FORECAST FOB TO-DAY. (By the Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (3 p.ra. yesterday) are for strung southerly winds, decreasing in force generally anil backing probably by west to northerly in about thirty-six hours. Weather conditions are likely to improve temporarily, but more westerly disturbance is to be expected in the early part of next week, with unpleasant weather. The badometer is no rising temporarily, but is likely to prove low in the middle of next week.
